I started learning to throw pottery in 2013. I still feel like a novice every time I sit at the wheel. there is something humbling—and beautiful—about always having more to learn.

I am most drawn to quiet, calming neutrals, and quiet is something I cherish wherever I can find it. I love simple, functional pieces that are meant to be used every day—especially mugs. there’s something sacred about a daily ritual, especially when it begins with your favorite drink in a favorite mug.

this pottery practice of mine is a grounding rhythm in the midst of a wonderfully full life.
